Ingredients
- Jumbo pasta shells
- Ground beef
- Ricotta cheese
- Marinara sauce
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Parmesan cheese
- Garlic
- Onion
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sautรฉ the chopped onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until browned.
- Transfer the cooked beef mixture to a bowl and combine it with ricotta cheese.
- Fill each pasta shell with the beef and ricotta mixture.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce in a baking dish. Place the stuffed shells, cover with remaining marinara sauce, and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Allow to cool slightly, serve, and enjoy!
Notes
Feel free to experiment with different meats or add herbs for extra flavor. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to three days or frozen for two months.
