- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Beat the softened cream cheese until it’s smooth and creamy. Set it aside.
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla in another bowl until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently stir just until combined.
- Spread half of the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Layer the sliced bananas over the batter.
- Spoon dollops of the cream cheese mixture over the bananas, then gently spread the remaining batter on top.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool slightly before serving. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for added indulgence. Store leftovers tightly covered in the refrigerator for 3–4 days.
