- 2/3 cup milk (room temperature preferred)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Oil or nonstick cooking spray for greasing the pan
Instructions
- Preheat your griddle to 350°F or heat a large frying pan over low-medium heat.
- Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Whisk in the sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter until combined.
- Stir in the milk, mixing well.
- Fold in the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
- Gently stir in the chocolate chips.
- Grease the frying pan or griddle lightly.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot surface for each pancake.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until small bubbles form on the uncooked side.
- Flip the pancakes and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
For a more indulgent twist, serve with maple syrup, fresh fruit, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
