Description

A unique appetizer featuring a delightful combination of sweet strawberries, tangy feta, and rich balsamic glaze on a homemade flatbread.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or whole wheat flour)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine Greek yogurt, flour, olive oil, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl until a dough forms.
  3. Flour a surface and roll out the dough to your desired shape and thickness.
  4. Place the rolled-out dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the flatbread is lightly golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  7. Top the warm flatbread with sliced strawberries and crumbled feta cheese.
  8. Drizzle balsamic glaze on top and add fresh basil for garnish, if desired.
  9. Slice into pieces and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
