Description

A quick and easy marinade that infuses steaks with incredible flavor, combining sweet brown sugar and tangy balsamic vinegar.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, Dijon mustard, dried rosemary, and dried thyme until well combined.
  2. Place your steak in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.
  3. Pour the flavorful marinade over the steak, ensuring it’s coated evenly.
  4. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 8 hours for best flavor).
  5. Remove the steak from the marinade when ready to cook.
  6. Grill or pan-sear the steak to your desired doneness and discard any leftover marinade.

Notes

For an even deeper flavor, marinate overnight. Always use fresh garlic for better taste.
