A quick and easy marinade that infuses steaks with incredible flavor, combining sweet brown sugar and tangy balsamic vinegar.
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Whisk together the balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, Dijon mustard, dried rosemary, and dried thyme until well combined.
- Place your steak in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.
- Pour the flavorful marinade over the steak, ensuring it’s coated evenly.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 8 hours for best flavor).
- Remove the steak from the marinade when ready to cook.
- Grill or pan-sear the steak to your desired doneness and discard any leftover marinade.
Notes
For an even deeper flavor, marinate overnight. Always use fresh garlic for better taste.
