Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl until well combined.
  3. Whisk together the milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and lemon juice in a separate bowl until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the fresh raspberries, taking care not to mash them too much.
  6. Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each mold about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the donuts cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. If desired, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
