- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl until well combined.
- Whisk together the milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and lemon juice in a separate bowl until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
- Gently fold in the fresh raspberries, taking care not to mash them too much.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each mold about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the donuts cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- If desired, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
