These quick and easy Baked Cinnamon Twists are made with crescent roll dough and perfect for breakfast or dessert.

- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a lightly floured surface. Gently press the seams together to form one cohesive sheet.
- Mix the brown sugar, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt in a small bowl until combined.
- Brush the dough evenly with the melted butter.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the dough, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
- Cut the dough into even strips using a pizza cutter or a sharp knife for easy handling.
- Twist each strip several times and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each one.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the twists are golden brown and puffy.
- Allow the twists to cool for about 5 minutes on the baking sheet.
- Whisk together the powdered sugar and milk in a separate bowl until smooth, then drizzle over the warm twists before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with fresh fruit or ice cream. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for two days or freeze for up to a month.
