Description

A delightful twist on the classic grilled cheese, featuring creamy avocado and juicy tomato.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices of your favorite sandwich bread
  • 2 tablespoons Kerrygold butter
  • A few slices of your favorite cheeses
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • Sea salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Spread about 1/2 tablespoon of butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Take the unbuttered side of two slices and layer on your cheese, sliced avocado, and tomato.
  3. Sprinkle with a dash of cracked pepper and salt for flavor.
  4. Close the sandwich with the other slices of bread, butter side out.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place your sandwich in the skillet, butter side down.
  6. Cover with a lid and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese starts melting.
  7. Flip the sandwich over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the second side is golden and the cheese is fully melted.
  8. Slice in half and enjoy your delicious creation!
