Description

A cozy and wholesome dish perfect for breakfast or a comforting snack, combining rolled oats with warm spices and sweet apples.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk (or plant-based alternative)
  • 2 apples, diced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Combine the rolled oats, milk, diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk together the eggs and vanilla extract in another bowl, then pour it into the oat mixture.
  4. Mix until well combined and pour it into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the top is golden brown and fully set.
  6. Allow cooling for a few minutes before serving warm or at room temperature.

Notes
