Description

Indulge in rich brownie goodness with a delightful twist of chocolate, coconut, and almonds, reminiscent of an Almond Joy candy bar.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped almonds
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Prepare a 9ร—13 inch baking pan by greasing and flouring it.
  2. Melt the butter in a large mixing bowl. Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined and smooth.
  3. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet mixture, blending until just combined.
  4. Fold in the shredded coconut, chopped almonds, and chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, smoothing it out for even baking.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool the brownies in the pan before cutting them into squares for serving.

Notes

Serve warm with ice cream or drizzle with chocolate/caramel sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
