- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Slice the onions into rings.
- In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Beat the eggs in a separate bowl.
- Place the breadcrumbs in another bowl.
- Dip each onion ring in the flour mixture, followed by the eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Arrange the onion rings in a single layer in the basket.
- Air fry for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm as a delicious appetizer.
Notes
Try adding garlic powder for extra flavor. For a healthier option, use whole wheat flour.
