Description

Delightful treats featuring flaky biscuit dough filled with warm apple pie filling and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar, easy to make in under 20 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup apple pie filling
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Butter spray or melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Roll out each biscuit gently on a floured surface.
  3. Place a spoonful of apple pie filling in the center of each biscuit.
  4. Fold the biscuit dough over the filling and seal the edges securely.
  5. Lightly spray the bombs with butter or brush on melted butter for a golden finish.
  6. Mix together sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  7. Roll the filled biscuits in the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat them well.
  8. Place the bombs in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until they reach a golden brown color.
  9. Allow them to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For best results, make sure to seal the edges of the biscuits firmly and consider using whole wheat biscuit dough for a healthier option.
