Ingredients

  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced (white or cremini)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat until the butter is melted.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are tender and begin to brown.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  5. Add the heavy cream, season with salt and pepper, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
