Ingredients

- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced (white or cremini)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat until the butter is melted.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are tender and begin to brown.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the beef broth and let it simmer for 3-4 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Add the heavy cream, season with salt and pepper, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Serve the sauce over juicy steaks and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
