- 1/2 cup of sugar

Instructions
- Preheat your oven as directed on the puff pastry package and roll it out in a baking dish.
- Mix the custard powder and sugar in a saucepan.
- Add the milk gradually, whisking to avoid lumps.
- Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring continuously until it thickens.
- Add vanilla extract and allow the custard to cool.
- Layer the cooled custard over the baked puff pastry.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
- Serve by cutting into squares and topping with whipped cream.
