Description

Delicious egg rolls filled with brisket, cheeses, and jalapeños, drizzled with honey for a savory-sweet treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked brisket, chopped
  • 1/2 cup jalapeños, diced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • Oil for frying
  • Honey for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, brisket, jalapeños, and green onions in a mixing bowl.
  2. Place a spoonful of the mixture in the center of an egg roll wrapper.
  3. Fold the wrapper over to cover the filling and seal the edges with water.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat until hot.
  5. Fry the egg rolls in oil until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Remove egg rolls from the oil and let them drain on paper towels.
  7. Drizzle honey over the egg rolls just before serving.

Notes

For a milder flavor, remove seeds and membranes from jalapeños. You can also use shredded chicken or beef instead of brisket.
