- 8 egg roll wrappers
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked brisket, chopped
- 1/2 cup jalapeños, diced
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- Oil for frying
- Honey for drizzling
Instructions
- Combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, brisket, jalapeños, and green onions in a mixing bowl.
- Place a spoonful of the mixture in the center of an egg roll wrapper.
- Fold the wrapper over to cover the filling and seal the edges with water.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat until hot.
- Fry the egg rolls in oil until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove egg rolls from the oil and let them drain on paper towels.
- Drizzle honey over the egg rolls just before serving.
Notes
For a milder flavor, remove seeds and membranes from jalapeños. You can also use shredded chicken or beef instead of brisket.
