- 2 cups cooked sushi rice
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Nori sheets, cut into strips
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Green onions, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Combine the drained canned tuna with soy sauce and sesame oil. Give it a gentle mix until well combined.
- Prepare your cooked sushi rice; if you’re making it from scratch, make sure to season it lightly.
- Place the sushi rice at the bottom of your serving bowl.
- Top it with the tuna mixture, followed by the sliced avocado and cucumber.
- Add strips of nori around the edges for a beautiful presentation.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the explosion of flavors!
Notes
For a vegetarian option, substitute tuna with tofu or chickpeas. Leftovers can be stored in separate airtight containers in the refrigerator.
