Description

Delightful indulgence of rich white chocolate and vibrant strawberries that ooze a warm, luscious center.


Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup white chocolate
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chopped
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup strawberry curd
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3 vanilla beans (seeds only, or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract)
  • 4 large eggs at room temperature
  • 4 large egg yolks at room temperature
  • 45 drops pink gel food color (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Butter six 6oz ramekins and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  3. Combine the white chocolate and chopped butter in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 1 minute, then stir. Continue heating in 15-second intervals until melted and smooth.
  4. Whisk in the flour, powdered sugar, strawberry curd, lemon juice, lemon zest, and pink gel color until combined.
  5. Add the eggs and egg yolks, whisking until smooth and shiny.
  6. Divide the batter among the prepared ramekins. Bake for 14-15 minutes, until the edges are set.
  7. Remove from the oven and let stand for 5 minutes.
  8. Run a butter knife around the edges, then invert onto serving plates.
  9. Finish with powdered sugar or a dollop of strawberry curd.

Notes

Serve with fresh strawberries or vanilla ice cream for an elevated dessert experience.
