- 4 Belgian waffles
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 0.5 cup powdered sugar
- 0.5 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1.5 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted (optional)
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the strawberries and combine them with the granulated sugar in a bowl. Allow them to sit for 10–15 minutes until they become juicy.
- Beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth in a separate bowl.
- Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form in another bowl.
- Fold the whipped cream and vanilla into the cream cheese mixture until it’s fluffy and well-blended.
- Toast or cook the waffles until they’re golden and crisp, brushing them with melted butter if desired.
- Spread half of the cheesecake filling onto one waffle. Add a spoonful of the macerated strawberries on top.
- Place another waffle on top and gently press down. Repeat this process for the second waffle sandwich.
- Finish with more strawberries on top and a dusting of powdered sugar. Serve immediately for the best taste!
