Description

Delightfully decadent waffles filled with creamy cheesecake and fresh strawberries, perfect for brunch or a sweet breakfast.


Ingredients

  • 4 Belgian waffles
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the strawberries and combine them with the granulated sugar in a bowl. Allow them to sit for 10–15 minutes until they become juicy.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth in a separate bowl.
  3. Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form in another bowl.
  4. Fold the whipped cream and vanilla into the cream cheese mixture until it’s fluffy and well-blended.
  5. Toast or cook the waffles until they’re golden and crisp, brushing them with melted butter if desired.
  6. Spread half of the cheesecake filling onto one waffle. Add a spoonful of the macerated strawberries on top.
  7. Place another waffle on top and gently press down. Repeat this process for the second waffle sandwich.
  8. Finish with more strawberries on top and a dusting of powdered sugar. Serve immediately for the best taste!

Notes

For a dairy-free option, substitute cream cheese with a vegan alternative.
