Description

Delicious pancakes infused with the warm flavors of cinnamon and sugar, reminiscent of churros. Perfect for a cozy brunch or a quick weekday treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for coating)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Whisk until evenly mixed.
  2. Whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter in a separate bowl until combined.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are perfectly fine!
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  5. For each pancake, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet.
  6. Cook until bubbles start forming on the surface, then flip the pancake and cook until golden brown on the other side.
  7. Mix together the sugar and cinnamon for the coating in a small bowl.
  8. Once cooked, immediately coat the pancakes in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  9. Serve these warm and enjoy every delicious bite!
