- 1 French baguette, sliced
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 tablespoon honey (plus more for drizzling)
- Fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the baguette into ½-inch pieces and place them on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese and honey. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Once the bread is perfectly toasted, spread a generous layer of the whipped ricotta onto each slice.
- Top with diced peaches and finish with a sprinkle of fresh basil.
- Drizzle a little more honey over the top if you desire and serve immediately.
