Description

Delicious, flaky cheese straws flavored with fresh rosemary and Parmesan, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface until smooth.
  3. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and finely chopped rosemary evenly over the pastry.
  4. Cut the pastry into strips about 1 inch wide.
  5. Twist each strip gently and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Beat the egg and brush it over the twisted cheese straws. Sprinkle with salt and pepper!
  7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
