Description

Delightful pumpkin-infused twists that embody the flavors of fall in a fun, shareable form.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry (Use pre-rolled for convenience)
  • 1 cup Canned Pumpkin Puree
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cloves
  • 1 Egg (beaten, for brushing)
  • Powdered Sugar (Optional sweet topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the canned pumpkin, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and ground cloves in a mixing bowl. Stir until well blended and set aside.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface and cut it into rectangles, about 3 inches by 5 inches.
  4. Place a spoonful of the pumpkin filling in the center of each rectangle.
  5. Fold the pastry over to create a pocket and press the edges to seal tightly.
  6. Twist the sealed edges to create a spiral effect.
  7. Place the twists on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and brush them with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar if desired once cooled.

Notes

Pair with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an elevated dessert experience.
