Description

A delightful dish of marinated grilled chicken served with a vibrant creamy green sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 jalapeño (seeded and chopped)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Combine olive oil, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl; blend these ingredients to create a fragrant rub and generously apply it to the chicken breasts.
  3. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6–7 minutes on each side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  4. Prepare the creamy green sauce by combining cilantro, mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, lime juice, chopped jalapeño, and salt in a blender; blend until smooth.
  5. Serve the grilled chicken with a drizzle of the creamy green sauce on top.

Notes

Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes for maximum flavor. Let it rest for a couple of minutes after grilling to keep it juicy.
