- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- Combine the peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Mix until smooth.
- Add the flour, baking soda, and salt to the bowl, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into bars and serving.
Notes
For a chewy texture, use natural peanut butter. Store bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
