- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or American)
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup diced pickles
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 egg (optional, for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef along with the diced onions over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Mix in the ketchup, mustard, diced pickles, salt, and pepper, and allow the flavors to meld.
- Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a pie dish or skillet.
- Pour the beef mixture into the crust and sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
- Brush the top with egg wash for a golden crust.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
