- 8 ounces white chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon fresh orange zest
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat just until it starts to simmer.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the chopped white chocolate. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Mix in the fresh orange zest and vanilla extract.
- Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
- Once firm, scoop portions of the mixture and roll them into balls.
- Dust the truffles with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
These truffles are best served chilled. Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for about a week or frozen for up to three months.
