Description

Transform ordinary broccoli into a flavor-packed side dish with garlic and Parmesan in this quick and easy recipe.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Steam the broccoli until it is tender but still vibrant green, about 5-6 minutes.
  2. Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes—be careful not to let it brown.
  4. Toss the steamed broccoli in the garlic butter until well coated.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts slightly and coats the broccoli.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For freezing, ensure broccoli is completely cooled before placing it in a freezer-safe container.
