Description
A delightful dish that transforms chicken breasts with zesty lemon pepper and aromatic garlic butter for a quick weeknight meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your skillet over medium heat.
- Season the chicken: Generously coat the chicken breasts with lemon pepper seasoning, salt, and pepper on both sides.
- Cook the chicken: In the heated skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and add the seasoned chicken. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the chicken is no longer pink in the center (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
- Set aside the chicken: Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and let it rest while you move on to the sauce.
- Make the garlic butter: In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and add the minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Combine: Drizzle the garlic butter over the chicken.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve immediately. Enjoy!
Notes
For a crispier exterior, pat the chicken breasts dry before seasoning. Consider adding red pepper flakes for a spicier kick.
