Description

A delightful twist on traditional breakfast, combining lemon flavor and creamy cheesecake in a convenient overnight oat recipe.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 2 oz cream cheese (softened)

Instructions

  1. Combine the rolled oats and lemon zest in a mixing bowl, stirring them well.
  2. Whisk together the Greek yogurt, milk, fresh lemon juice, honey (or maple syrup), and softened cream cheese in a separate bowl until smooth.
  3. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients, and stir until fully integrated.
  4. Transfer the mixture into individual jars or one large container, cover tightly, and refrigerate overnight.
  5. Give the oats a stir in the morning and top with additional lemon zest or fresh fruit.

Notes
