Description

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Vanilla Coconut Milk
  • 1.5 cups Jasmine Rice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 cup Sugar
  • 0.33 cup Toasted Coconut

Instructions

  1. Add the vanilla coconut milk and salt to a medium saucepan. Heat on high until it begins to boil gently.
  2. Stir in the jasmine rice and sugar, mixing well.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and cover the saucepan. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the liquid is absorbed.
  4. Add a tablespoon or two of coconut milk if the rice feels too firm, and continue cooking until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Toast the coconut in a dry skillet over medium heat until golden brown.
  6. Fluff the rice with a fork and top generously with the toasted coconut before serving.

Notes
