Description

These Honey Garlic Steak Bites are an easy, flavorful dish perfect for a quick dinner or as an appetizer for a gathering. The steak bites are tender and juicy, coated in a sticky, sweet, and savory honey garlic sauce. Paired with your favorite side, they are sure to be a hit!

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak cubes and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 4-5 minutes, or until the steak is browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  • Add honey, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Stir well to combine and bring the sauce to a simmer. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes, or until it thickens slightly.
  • Return the steak cubes to the skillet and toss to coat the steak in the sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, until the steak is heated through and coated in the honey garlic glaze.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute the sirloin steak with any cut of your choice, such as ribeye or flank steak.
  • For a lower-carb version, you can replace the honey with a sugar substitute like stevia or erythritol.
  • Serve these steak bites over rice, mashed potatoes, or with a fresh salad for a complete meal.
