Description

Delightful dish of tender beef sirloin, fresh vegetables, and silky noodles coated in a rich hoisin sauce, ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 200g egg noodles
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (red, yellow, or green)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Once done, drain them and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat in a large pan or wok.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the sliced beef to the pan, cooking until browned for about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Stir in the sliced bell peppers and broccoli, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
  6. Toss in the cooked noodles, hoisin sauce, and soy sauce. Mix everything together until well combined and heated through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute beef with firm tofu or tempeh. Add chili paste for a spicy twist.
