Ingredients
Scale
- 6 boneless chicken thighs (skin-on or skinless)
- 3 peaches (cored and quartered)
- 1 additional peach (skin-off and diced)
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup barbeque sauce
- 3 tablespoons bourbon
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika

- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Make the spice rub: Combine all the dry spices in a bowl and sprinkle over the chicken thighs.
- Prepare the sauce: In a saucepan, combine diced peach and sugar, bring to a boil, then simmer. Mix in barbeque sauce and bourbon, simmer for an additional 5 minutes and blend.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high.
- Grill the chicken: Cook the chicken thighs for 3-5 minutes on each side, glazing with the sauce.
- Check for doneness: Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Grill the peaches for 1-2 minutes per side.
- Serve immediately with grilled peaches and extra sauce.
Notes
Marinate the chicken overnight for deeper flavor; consider homemade BBQ sauce for tailored taste.
