- 4 oz Goat Cheese
- 2 slices Bread (sourdough or whole grain)
- 2 tbsp Honey (or agave syrup)
- 2 tbsp Butter (or olive oil)
Instructions
- Preheat your skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Flip the bread over and layer goat cheese generously on the unbuttered sides.
- Drizzle honey atop the goat cheese.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing out.
- Carefully place the sandwich in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the cheese is oozy.
- Remove from heat, slice in half, and enjoy warm!
Notes
For extra flavor, add herbs to the goat cheese or experiment with different types of cheese. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days.
