Description

Delightful baked donuts featuring the nostalgic flavor of Fruity Pebbles, perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Fruity Pebbles (and extra for topping)
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable or canola oil
  • 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 23 tablespoons cereal milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a donut pan generously with baking spray.
  2. Combine milk, egg, oil, vanilla extract, and Fruity Pebbles in a mixing bowl and mix well.
  3. Whisk together all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt in another bowl.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Prepare the glaze by whisking powdered sugar, cereal milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  8. Dip the cooled donuts in the glaze and sprinkle with additional Fruity Pebbles.

Notes

For gluten-free, substitute all-purpose flour with a gluten-free blend. For a dairy-free version, use almond milk.
