Description

A refreshing twist on a classic chicken salad, featuring tender shredded chicken and crunchy dill pickles, topped with a creamy dressing.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup dill pickles, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Chopped celery and chopped red onion

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken and chopped dill pickles.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt (or mayonnaise), Dijon mustard, fresh dill, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour the dressing mixture over the chicken and pickles, stirring until everything is well coated.
  4. If you desire extra crunch, fold in the chopped celery and red onion.
  5. Serve the salad chilled on a bed of lettuce, in a sandwich, or with your favorite crackers.
