Description

A cozy and comforting burrata grilled cheese sandwich that elevates the classic with creamy burrata and crispy bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of bread (your choice; sourdough or ciabatta work beautifully)
  • 1 ball of burrata cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and let it melt, coating the bottom of the pan.
  2. Place one slice of your chosen bread in the skillet. On top, add the burrata cheese, gently breaking it up to ensure even distribution.
  3. Season with salt and pepper for added flavor, then top with the second slice of bread.
  4. Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown—around 3-4 minutes. Carefully flip the sandwich to the other side.
  5. Add the remaining tablespoon of butter to the skillet now that the sandwich is flipped.
  6. Continue cooking until both sides are golden brown and the cheese has melted—approximately another 3-4 minutes.
  7. Remove the sandwich from the skillet, slice it in half, and savor the gooey goodness!

Notes

Best served with a fresh arugula salad or a side of tomato soup.
