Description

A flavorful and easy dish that combines the warmth of rosemary with the tang of Dijon mustard, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried rosemary)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the chicken by patting it dry and placing it in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Make the marinade by whisking together the Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Coat the chicken with the marinade, ensuring each piece is thoroughly covered and let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  5. Arrange the marinated chicken in a lightly greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is no longer pink and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  7. Rest the chicken for about 5 minutes before serving.
  8. Serve with fresh rosemary sprigs and lemon wedges, if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken longer or finish it with a pat of butter before serving.
