- 1 sheet puff pastry (store-bought or homemade)
- 3 medium apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon butter (for dotting)
- Optional: powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
- Peel and slice the apples, then toss them with lemon juice, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Spread the apple mixture over the center of the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border.
- Fold the edges of the pastry over the apples, creating a rustic tart.
- Dot with butter on top of the apples.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
