Ingredients

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Fit your pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish, pressing it down gently to avoid any air bubbles.
  3. In a medium bowl, melt the chocolate chips and butter together – either in the microwave for about 30 seconds or using a double boiler on the stovetop. Stir until smooth.
  4. Add cocoa powder, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt to the melted chocolate mixture. Stir until everything is well combined and creamy.
  5. Pour your luscious chocolate filling into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the center is just set (it shouldn’t jiggle too much).
