Description

A quick and comforting creamy pasta dish perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces bowtie pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika, combining well.
  5. Add the butter to the mixture, allowing it to melt before pouring in the beef broth and half and half. Stir and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the beef mixture, stirring gently to coat it in the sauce.
  7. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the mixture, stirring until it melts. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  8. Remove from heat, and your dish is ready to serve!

Notes

For a lighter option, try using turkey, chicken, or sautéed mushrooms instead of beef.
