- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice

- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- Combine the all-purpose flour and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl. Add the unsalted butter and cut it in until crumbly.
- Press this mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for about 15 minutes until lightly golden.
- Beat the eggs in another bowl. Stir in the granulated sugar, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and baking powder until well blended.
- Pour the lemon mixture evenly over the crust.
- Bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until the center is set.
- Cool completely before cutting into squares, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
