Description

Delightful stuffed jumbo pasta shells filled with a rich, creamy mushroom mixture, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • Jumbo pasta shells
  • Mushrooms (button or cremini recommended)
  • Garlic
  • Cream cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Heavy cream
  • Butter
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add the chopped mushrooms and cook until they’re soft.
  5. In a bowl, combine the sautéed mushrooms with cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Stuff each pasta shell generously with the mushroom mixture.
  7. In a baking dish, spread a layer of heavy cream and place the stuffed shells on top.
  8. Pour additional heavy cream over the shells, followed by a generous sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
  9. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until the dish is golden and bubbly.
  11. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Feel free to use a mix of mushrooms for more flavor, and experiment with different cheeses for the stuffing.
