- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the cottage cheese, all-purpose flour, baking powder, garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Stir until the mixture forms a soft dough.
- Divide the dough into equal portions—about the size of a golf ball. Roll each piece into a rope shape, then join the ends to form a bagel ring.
- Place the shaped bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Beat an egg in a small bowl and brush it generously over each bagel.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until they are golden brown and firm to the touch.
- Allow them to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Store leftover bagels in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for a week. Freezing is also an option.
