Description
A delicious twist on the classic banana bread with a sweet cinnamon swirl.
Ingredients

- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
- Combine the mashed bananas with the melted butter until well-blended.
- Stir in the baking soda and a pinch of salt.
- Add sugar, the beaten egg, and vanilla extract, mixing until just combined.
- Mix in the flour until there are no streaks of flour visible.
- Whisk together the ground cinnamon and brown sugar in a separate bowl.
- Pour half of the banana batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture on top.
- Add the remaining batter and finish with the rest of the cinnamon mixture.
- Swirl the cinnamon mixture into the batter using a knife.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool the bread before slicing.
Notes
Serve warm with butter or honey, and enjoy with coffee or tea!
