Description

Delicious bars that combine the warm flavors of cinnamon rolls with the convenience of a bar, perfect for brunch or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your baking pan.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the all-purpose flour, stirring just until combined.
  5. Mix the ground cinnamon with two tablespoons of sugar for the filling.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  7. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the batter and swirl with a knife.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool and drizzle with a glaze made from powdered sugar and milk.

Notes
