Description

A rich and moist chocolate cake topped with sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce, finished with chocolate chips.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (and ingredients listed on the box, typically eggs, oil, and water)
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your cake pan generously.
  2. Prepare the chocolate cake mix as directed on the box. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake according to the package instructions and let the cake cool completely on a wire rack.
  4. Once cooled, use a fork to poke holes all over the top of the cake.
  5. Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes for maximum flavor.
  6. Drizzle the caramel sauce evenly over the top of the cake.
  7. Finally, sprinkle chocolate chips over the caramel for added sweetness and texture.
  8. Allow the cake to set for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve warm or chilled, topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
