Description

A flavorful Mediterranean dish featuring tender marinated chicken grilled to perfection, served with warm pita and creamy tzatziki sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for at least 30 minutes

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper to create a flavorful marinade.
  2. Add the cubed chicken to the bowl, tossing to coat all pieces thoroughly in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour or up to overnight.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the soaked skewers, leaving some space for even grilling.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 10 to 15 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Serve warm, accompanied by pita bread and tzatziki sauce.

Notes

Marinate the chicken overnight for deeper flavor penetration. Preferably, let the skewers rest for a few minutes before serving.
