- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for rolling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the brown sugar and softened butter until completely smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Roll the dough into small balls, then coat each one in granulated sugar.
- Place the sugar-coated balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space in between.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
