Description

Delightfully sweet cookies filled with gooey cherry filling and topped with white chocolate, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 15 oz cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (for the topping)

Instructions

  1. Combine the softened butter, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar in a stand mixer until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the flour gradually and mix until fully combined, scraping down the sides of the bowl.
  3. Scoop out the dough with a tablespoon and roll it into a ball, creating a small well in each.
  4. Fill the well with a heaping spoonful of cherry pie filling.
  5. Place the filled cookies on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12-15 minutes.
  6. Remove cookies from the oven and let them cool completely.
  7. Melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave and drizzle over the cooled cookies.

Notes

For a fun twist, try using different fruit fillings or adding a pinch of cinnamon to the dough.
